We would like to inform you that Mr. Ahmed Sudad, the present Customs Deputy Director for BGT East has been authorized to manage customs of BGT East (Berth 25/26/27) by the Southern Region Customs Office with effect from today 6th April 2021.
We would also like to announce that BGT East (Berth 25/26/27) has a new IPA terminal manager - Mr. Hussam Raheem. Mr. Hussam has worked before as a terminal manager in Berth 20 (BGT west) and as a deputy of the stevedoring manager in the southern port of Umm Qasr before he moved to BGT east. As always, all BGT operations are continuing normally with vessel operations and cargo delivery ongoing as usual. We will advise if there will be any changes to this.
We wish both Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Hussam all the best in their new roles.
